Thank you for taking the time to read about Scarcroft WI.
We are a fun, friendly, vibrant group of women of all ages and interests. The ability to sew, knit, bake or make jam is certainly not a requirement!! Just come along and enjoy the evening - you’ll receive a warm welcome.
Do drop in to one of our meetings, as a visitor, to find out more. Our membership is now full but, if you are interested, we can add your name to our waiting list and also put you in touch with other local WIs.
You do not have to live in Scarcroft to be involved – some of our members come from villages in the surrounding area. However, ladies living in Scarcroft are given priority over others to join.
We get together on the second Thursday of each month from 7.15 to 9.15pm usually at Scarcroft Village Hall, on the A58. There is a car park at the rear of the building.
With work, holidays and other commitments there is no expectation that you will be able to attend every meeting.
As a WI we are part of the largest voluntary Women's Organisation in the UK. www.thewi.org.uk
