(VARIOUS ROADS THORNER, LEEDS)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) NOTICE 2014
WHEREAS Leeds City Council is the traffic authority for the Leeds Metropolitan District; and
WHEREAS carriageway resurfacing and lining works are to take place.
TAKE NOTICE that in the interests of public safety it is considered necessary that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along:-
- Thorner Lane & Sandhills, Thorner from the junction of Skeltons Lane to Main Street;
- Thorner Lane, Scarcroft from its junction with Milner Lane to The Meadow;
- Milner Lane, Thorner from its junction with Holme Farm Lane to Church Hill;
- Holme Farm Lane from its junction with Mill Lane to Bramham Lane
DIVERSIONARY ROUTE:- A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via.
For 1. - Thorner Lane – York Road – Spen Common Lane – Paradise Way – Tenter Hill – Bramham Road – Church Hill – Church View – Main Street and vice versa
For 2. - Milner Lane – Holme Farm Lane – Mill Lane – Wetherby Road and vice versa
For 3. - Holme Farm Lane – Thorner Lane – Thorner Road – Bramham Road – Church Hill and vice versa
For 4. - Bramham Lane – Rigton Green – Mill Lane and vice versa.
PERIOD OF WORKS/RESTRICTIONS: The works are to take place on one day only between Monday 18 and 24 August for the resurfacing works and again between 23 and 30 August 2014 for the lining works.
